good on ya Graeme!
|
|
Some of you may remember
former Capital Blokart Club member Graeme Harris who emigrated
to Canada. |
|
|
|
He has been experimenting... |
|
|
|
From Graeme |
| Have a look at my experiment, we
have ice but we get a lot of snow! I am getting blokart
withdrawals and need a ride. So I will try to solve this
problem like most Kiwis do, find a solution!! My first
test will be this weekend. Will let you know how it
go's. |

The ski's work,
will post a vid on you-tube when I can transfer video on
to computer, Matt from Blokart's said someone else has
had a go a couple of weeks ago, 'I want some proof !' |
| I will have to get some longer and
fatter ski's to go faster, had a problem with too much
forward weight on the front ski, so I sat on the back of
the seat - it made a big difference, I also took the two
kids across the lake for a ride. I broke my back pulley
stick thingy, luckily I have two!! |
| I need a supplier near here. |
| And to stop the kart from sliding
sideways I cut through the middle of the ski and pushed
the blokart ice blade through, it works like a keel and
turns very well, getting it up on two ski's is a bit
scary, as the weight of the ski tips forward, had to
keep my foot on the back of the ski to keep the tip up. |
| I hope to get the next experiment
up an running soon, so will keep in touch.
